My knee has been getting better, but is not yet well. I am bored beyond belief and am beginning to wonder what the heck I'm doing here. I've watched more of the Olympic Games than I have during any other period of my life.. I'm getting to see it live since Spain is only one hour later in time than London. But still, sitting on a couch all day is just not my thing.
Anyway, this morning I remembered taping my knee a few years ago when doing the 60 mile Breast Cancer walks. My kneecap doesn't stay in it's groove sometimes then the muscles get over worked. So I did some research and translated some words and went to the farmácia and have tried to approximate the kinds of tape I used. Of course I have tons of it at home. Anyway, my make shift wrapping seems to be working. I will start walking again on Monday. They do have physical therapist here so if this doesn't work I'll try to find one in the next big city I'm in and see if I can get the right stuff. For the moment I have hope of continuing.
As nice as this place is, I look forward to getting back to the alberques and the stream of pilgrims. There are not many here, and those that are here, are leaving the Camino for physical reasons. I will be glad to get back to the walking. We'll see what happens. I'd love to hear from you all. Let me know what you are doing. Right now Brasil is beating Honduras in fútbol.
